Hazelnut Biscotti Baking with Julia |
These were really delicious and easy to make. They were especially easy since my friend took care of removing the skins from the hazelnuts! Thank you DeLynn! Next time I might leave the skins on. Doesn't seem like it would hurt anything!
I can't wait to make biscotti with other additions. The possibilities are endless! Our hosts for this recipe were Jodi and Katrina. Be sure to go by the Tuesdays with Dorie site and see what the other bakers thought of this recipe!
They were especially delicious with a cup of tea!
I hope you had a happy 4th of July and that your summer is going well:)
Well they look great. Better late than never!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful biscotti! Mine are in the oven now...
ReplyDeleteHi, thank you for having visited me.
ReplyDeleteI love your biscotti! They look great!
This recipe is a winner in my family
I thought the skins were fine left on.
ReplyDeleteThese look lovely & I am sure they were even better with the presence of a good friend.
Have a great weekend.
Guyla, Sorry I missed your biscotti post! They look wonderful! How nice you had someone to bake with! It makes them that much sweeter! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures as always and I so enjoy reading your posts. I have made several recipes with the skins on (out of laziness). I do not find them bitter as I have read that that is the purpose of skinning the nuts.
ReplyDeleteSorry for having missed your Hazelnut Biscotti post. Of course, your cookies look delicious! I always use nuts in my baking with the skins on because we like them that way and because it is also healthier. I used almonds and Amaretto for this wonderful recipe! It is so nice to be able to share cookies with a good friend!
ReplyDeleteSorry again for my tardiness in commenting and do enjoy this Sunday!
These were great, weren't they? I have a feeling I'll be making these often.
